The Excesses of PowerPoint

In our field as in others, few days go by without creating or using a Power Point. It is ubiquitous. And occasionally it is over-the-top. For an example of that, check out this article from the New York Times as to a PowerPoint diagram purporting to illustrate American strategy in Afghanistan. Looking at it, it is amazing that we haven't yet successfully wrapped up that foreign adventure.

This is an amazing video (and a breathless one) that was shown recently by Sony at their executive conference. It speaks to technology on steroids, the exponential growth of knowledge, and the challenge facing all of us to stay current and keep up (and cope without going crazy). Check it out here:

It is our fair Melisa who manages our communications store
